What we do

With waste literally and figuratively in their fingers, our professionals know how to create new raw materials. We shred, we sort, we compost, we experiment and we innovate. This is how we add value to what others consider residual products. That's what we call valorization.

Waste sorting
Sorting is done partly by machine and partly by hand. Usually the sorted paper is baled, but sometimes it is transported loose. Because we sort the waste, the quality of the waste improves. And that is important to be able to make new raw materials from it.

Cutting of rolls
Some types of paper are delivered by our customers in rolls. Often these are residual rolls from a production process and sometimes they are original rolls of raw paper. To be able to recycle the paper on the residual rolls, we remove the (hard) core. We do this with guillotine shears. The loose sheets of paper are baled and sold to mills that turn them into new paper. The cardboard cores are also reused or recycled.

Archive destruction
For the destruction of confidential documents, Valor uses a separate shredding facility. Before the paper can be shredded, it must be removed from binders or boxes. The bales of shredded paper are sold to factories that turn them into tissue products. Examples include tissues and toilet paper. The destruction process is CA+ certified.

Reliable product destruction
Destruction of products must be done reliably. After all, you shouldn't think about products still wandering around when they aren't supposed to. That is where we offer customized product destruction. We arrange everything from A to Z and have various options for destroying the materials.

Pressing of waste streams
Some waste streams are baled after processing. This is necessary to keep large quantities in stock and transport them to customers. Valor has specific balers for different waste types.

Plastic recycling
In addition to paper, Valor also processes various types of plastic. The principle is the same as for paper recycling: the purer the plastics, the better they can be recycled and the more valuable they are. veyzle sorts the plastics by type and presses them together into bales or in bulk in big bags or sales containers. The sorted streams are sold to the plastics industry, which turns them into semi-finished products and new products.

Experimenting and advising
Valor likes to get the most out of waste. Thanks to our entrepreneurial character, we are always curious about new opportunities. With our years of expertise, asking the right questions and a pragmatic approach, we make quick, incisive choices.

This is how we get what's inside. Every single day.
